Splash PLUS

The Splash curriculum we use in Preschool provides weekly themes—but I always want to take my students’ education to the next level. Using the Splash curriculum and weekly themes as a base, I have created this outline of extensions that includes books we can use to extend the themes in the classroom; STEM projects that integrate with the weekly curriculum and themes; and CEOGC-based options that align with the curriculum and themes as well.

I find that this approach covers standards, is readily adaptable, and applies for educators who are working on some of the same standards even if they are not working with weekly themes.

The attached document indicates the Date, Theme, Letter, Skills, Books, STEM projects and CEOGC options for each week of the 2016-2017 school year.
