SOLEs Recording Forms

When integrating SOLEs (Self Organized Learning Environments) into classroom practice, I  use this handout to facilitate the learning process. For classroom use, it’s simple, kid-friendly, and keeps the process on-track. It also helps me create readily differentiated learning opportunities for every student. As a general resource, this handout provides educators at all levels with a clearly delineated and adaptable process for applying the SOLEs concept in any classroom.

Dora Bechtel is a second-grade teacher at Campus International School and was part of the school’s inaugural teaching staff when it opened in 2010. This is her 15th year teaching in Cleveland. Dora received her bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education along with her master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a reading endorsement from Cleveland State University. She also obtained the level of Master Teacher from the State of Ohio.
