Answering Text Based Questions

In English I, we work tirelessly to help students learn to cite textual evidence and integrate it into a structured paragraph.

One of the ways that I accomplish this is through TBQ’s or Text-Based Questions in our class. Every week we write a paragraph integrating textual evidence into a paragraph to support our analysis of the text.

This is a resource that I used at the beginning of the year with my English I students to support this for them. Feel free to customize it for your own text or class!
